Second Hand Books from the Library of the late
Frederick Willi Harvey who died in 2013

The following books are offered for sale because they are surplus to requirements.  Although a naturalized British subject, Willi was German by birth and came to Britain as a Prisoner of War. As he maintained his interest in all things German, a selection of his books were written and published in Germany. He was also well known in the tropical fish world for many years as a specialist breeder and expert. He also had a great interest in all kinds of wildlife around the world.

Unless otherwise stated, only one copy per title is offered for sale, and all will be treated on a first come, first serve basis. In general, prices quoted are significantly lower in price than currently seen on a variety of Internet websites.

Upon request, a black and white photocopy of the front board, jacket or outer cover will be supplied as an email attachment.

Non UK Postage please note : Unfortunately postage rates from the UK to other parts of the world are now expensive. If you live outside the UK and wish to order any item from this catalogue, full postal charges will be made. We will give you a quotation for any item plus postage, prior to you confirming your order.

CONDITION : Many of the wildlife books, particularly the more modern ones are complete with dust jackets. On the whole the condition of most of these is excellent, and in many cases almost as new. Many of the dust jackets show minimal signs of curling on some edges, and the surfaces may have a variety of very small and minor marks on them. However, unless these are inspected in close detail, most of these imperfections are more or less not seen.
